Well this is my first post and I really need some help.

I had this huge book when I was little that had fairy tales from everywhere in the world and each story has an illustration kinda watercolor-Edmund Dulac-ish. I think the title was East of the Sun and West of the Moon. The premise was this girl searching for her love(?) and she goes to an old woman who says that she will ask her four sons (the north, south, east, and west winds) if they have seen him. Well As each wind visits they have not seen her lover but they entertain the girl with stories they have picked up. (Like the East wind gives tales from Japan). It has everything from Cinderella, The Dew Drop Tiara, The little mermaid, Twelve dancing princesses, Snow White, as well as some more obscure ones like an African one about a selfish girl who has a watermelon and some sort of Japanese underwater castle made of turtle shells.

Anyways I can't find the book anywhere in my house and would really like to find it again. If any of you know anything please respond. Thanks!
